Guy Paquet adopted Baie-St-Paul as his spiritual homeland in the seventies. He soon headed out to sea for adventure. Last April, in Québec City, he shared his experience with us in a series of surprising and most beautiful images.
Paquet's career began in Québec City, twenty-five years ago, when he first started showing his work. Several solo shows followed in Baie-St-Paul as well in the most prestigious galleries of Toronto and Montréal.
By fulfilling his childhood dreams, Guy Paquet encourages all of us to be kids again. We are all navigating on a fine membrane which reflects the entire universe, as we try to understand it. The moon, the sun and the stars are all there to make the sea become a splendid mirror reflecting the immensity of life and of the universe.
